BRENTWOOD — The Brentwood Historical Society will continue its celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with a special program at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Brentwood Historical Society Museum, 140 Crawley Falls Road.
The evening will begin with a presentation by Kingston resident Ruth Bartlett, a great-great-great-great-granddaughter of Josiah Bartlett, one of New Hampshire's signers of the Declaration of Independence. Bartlett will share personal insights into her ancestor's life, legacy and contribution to the nation's founding.
