God protects the unborn, the rest is ours to nurture. So often I hear those who feel compelled to rally against what they consider an immoral act — that being abortion. While I can agree a fetus has a right to be born, I think it more important to focus on the quality of life we provide for children. I look around, and see it not so good, and there is much we should be doing to secure a better life for future generations, than to curtail what a woman can and cannot do in terms of her own health, and the power to guide her own path in life, not governed by the self-righteous, who feel government should enforce moral sanctity.
