God protects the unborn, the rest is ours to nurture. So often I hear those who feel compelled to rally against what they consider an immoral act — that being abortion. While I can agree a fetus has a right to be born, I think it more important to focus on the quality of life we provide for children. I look around, and see it not so good, and there is much we should be doing to secure a better life for future generations, than to curtail what a woman can and cannot do in terms of her own health, and the power to guide her own path in life, not governed by the self-righteous, who feel government should enforce moral sanctity.

I’ll make this brief. I wrote to both Massachusetts Senators about my objections to funding Planned Parenthood. Senator Warren has yet to reply but when Senator Markey did reply it was another liberal response that abortion is health care and women have the right to choose what health care providers they wish to employ.
