Decline is encouraging, but still too many opioid-related deaths
To the editor:
I’m responding to Christian Wade’s recent article titled, “Opioid deaths drop 10%, but remain high” (APP, June 13). The decline in deaths is encouraging, but the fact that there were 2,125 confirmed or suspected opioid-related deaths in 2023 is still much too high.
