* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, central, eastern,
northeastern, and western Massachusetts, and northern Rhode Island.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 6 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. The hazardous conditions could
impact the Monday morning commute across northern Massachusetts.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible
power outages.

NAACP calls for transparency after police killing

The NAACP expresses deep concern following the shooting death of Nickenley Turenne, a 24-year-old Black man, during an interaction with the Manchester, New Hampshire, Police Department after a police pursuit.
According to publicly reported information, Mr. Turenne was involved in a vehicle pursuit that ended in a crash and a brief foot chase. Three Manchester police officers discharged their weapons, fatally striking Mr. Turenne. As of this release, authorities have not publicly stated whether Mr. Turenne was armed.
