METHUEN — The city has shut down three more businesses suspected of operating as fronts for human trafficking, bringing the total to five over the last few days.
The news follows the recent shuttering of the Beauty Garden Spa on Wallace Street and Eastern Bodywork Therapy on Hampshire Street. Mayor D.J. Beauregard has said the closures are just the beginning in a campaign against human trafficking.
