HAVERHILL — A string of crashes — including two pedestrian fatalities last month — pushed the topic of street safety to the forefront at last week’s city council meeting.
As the Haverhill Police Department’s head of Traffic & Safety, Lt. Kevin Lynch rattled off crash statistics, local officials suggested a series of fixes and improvements to the city’s most problematic streets.
