Lawrence fire Lt. Jamiel Ortiz and his friend, Ricky Frias, organizers of the Salt Addiction Fishing Derby (May18) and the "sweating for a cause" workout held on Saturday, April 20 at the Fitness Appeal gym on Canal St. in Lawrence. Twenty fitness enthusiasts participated with fitness trainer, Marc Ford assisting, to help raise money for families struggling with cerebral palsy. This years recipients are the De La Rosa family of Lawrence who’s son, Isiah lives with cerebral palsy and the Cepeda family of Haverhill who’s daughter, Sophia also struggles with cerebral palsy. 4/20/2024 ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Lawrence fire Lt.
