Lawmakers demand answers on offshore wind projects
BOSTON — Massachusetts two U.S. senators are demanding answers from the Trump administration about the “national security threats” it cited in the decision to scuttle several multi-billion dollar offshore wind projects.
In a to Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey demanded a sit down meeting with the agencies to review “recently completed classified reports” behind the “national security risks” the Trump administration cited in its decision to halt construction of the offshore wind projects.
